As a second generation auctioneer Jimmy Willard has been licensed as an auctioneer since 1975 and full time in the business since 1983. Currently, Jimmy is a partner with H. Barry Smith of Shelbyville, Kentucky. This regional auction business conducts auctions of many types with an emphasis on real estate and the agricultural industry. Jimmy is a long time member of the National Auctioneers Association and Kentucky Auctioneers Association and received the CAI designation in 1987 from the Auction Marketing Institute, an educational arm of the National Auctioneers Association.
